Heavenly Father,
I truly thank you for not giving up on me
Because of you giving me faith (Hebrews 11:1), I now believe
You're my hope (Psalm 7:15) right from the start
I look to you (Psalm 121:1) as I open up my heart
As I read your Best-Seller, I've studied to be approved (2 Timothy 2:15)
For I've been rewarded for earnestly seeking you (Hebrews 11:6)
Although I'm Dark ‘n’ Lovely (Song of Solomon 1:5)
You only see me as Virtuous woman that's more precious than rubies (Proverbs 31:10)
I know that you have a plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11) and everybody else
But as for me, I Can Do Bad All By Myself (Romans 7:15)
You've taught me to realize that it's best to trust you (Psalm 118:8)
And you've made all my hopes and dreams come true
I always knew that my Mustard-Seed Faith (Matthew 17:20) was increasing
Because I'm always on my knees praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
As I continue focusing on gaining the ultimate prize (Philippians 3:16)
I give you all of me as a living sacrifice
I'm A True Woman of God (Job 33:4) who knows I can't fly with one wing
And I'm proud to be a Child of the King (1 Corinthians 13:11)
You love is too Unconditional (Romans 5:8) to have it thrown back in the face
Nothing brought me this far but faith (Romans 3:30) and your Amazing Grace (John 9:25)
I'm so grateful that you didn't think less of me because I'm young  (1 Timothy 4:12)
